Brownlies grain trading collect users information at the time of registration, when users enter advertisements and when users opt to buy. Personal information including name address and phone number of businesses buying and selling grain, is only given to other users when a contract is made.

Business information of grain transporters placed on the web site is made available through the advertisement to all users. Other information which we may request, including credit card details and other payment information, is maintain in encrypted form on secure servers.

Users are informed on how there information will be used when entering there details, so that an informed decision can be made about sharing personal information with us.

Updating Your Information

The user, through the ‘Update Personal Information’ link at the bottom of the home page can update most personal information. Information about the grain that the user puts on the market can be updated by selecting the grain from the ‘My Transactions’ window.

However this can only be updated as long as no other user has made an offer to buy that grain. This information will also be automatically updated when grain is sold. If you wish to seek access to information we hold about you, please contact our Operations Manager.

For this web site to function properly, a cookie is sent to your computer the first time you access the site. Most web pages will send cookies to your computer so to improve the service that they can provide to you.
